The Explore Scientific 100° Ar 14mm eyepiece is designed to provide a fully immersive observing experience thanks to its exceptional 100° apparent field of view. It offers high contrast and edge-to-edge sharpness while reducing the need for telescope repositioning.

Its optical layout features 9 elements in 6 groups with full EMD multi-coating, delivering high light transmission and minimizing internal reflections. The housing is waterproof to IPX7 standard and argon-purged to prevent fogging, dust, and fungal growth. The eyepiece can be submerged in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

A foldable rubber eyecup offers comfortable use with or without glasses, and the stainless-steel body ensures robustness and precision. It fits all standard 2" focusers.
