Description

The Baader Wide-T ring connects Nikon F-mount DSLR cameras to the Astro T-2 system using a built-in T-2 internal thread (M42 x 0.75 mm). It also features an external S52 dovetail for greater flexibility and compatibility with other accessories.

Adaptation options include:

• Convert to M48 using the S52/M48 adapter (#2958552)

• Use directly with the S52 barrel (#2958551)

• Attach securely to an M68 male thread using the S52/M68 adapter (#2458252)

The ring can also be connected to Baader’s Universal Filter Changer (UFC) system via the S52 UFC camera adapter (#2459119), allowing for quick and direct filter changes in front of the sensor.

With a clear aperture of 41 mm, this adapter maximizes sensor illumination and minimizes vignetting—ideal for astrophotography with full-frame cameras.
