WRGB flat-field panel with a 450 mm clear aperture, provides perfectly even illumination, full Web control, supports telescopes up to 16" on fixed piers or 14" in rotating domes.
Baader Planetarium’s Flatfield Box 450 eliminates sky flats in any observatory. Four sizes are available — 450 mm, 650 mm, 850 mm, 1250 mm — covering a wide range of apertures.
The 542 x 542 x 200 mm enclosure houses an infinity-mirror chamber and a high-density WRGB LED array that deliver gradient-free light across the visual spectrum, free of central dimming. Independent white, red, green and blue channels balance brightness for LRGB, narrowband, one-shot colour and dual-band cameras.
The side FlatPowerBox features a high-frequency flicker-free dimmer, adjustable from 1 ms to several seconds, and stores eight user presets accessible through any Web browser.
A rigid Minitech 30 mm aluminium frame supports wall, tabletop or rotating-dome mounting. Dimmed operation lets the panel double as WRGB observatory lighting. A breaker-protected 12 V supply ensures safe remote use.
