WRGB flat-field panel, 850 mm clear aperture, browser-based control, delivers uniform flats for telescopes up to 32" fixed or 30" in rotating domes.
Baader Planetarium’s Flatfield Box 850 removes sky flats for very large instruments. The 942 x 942 x 200 mm enclosure combines a multi-layer infinity-mirror chamber with a dense WRGB LED array, producing gradient-free illumination across the visual spectrum. The side-mounted FlatPowerBox drives the White, Red, Green and Blue channels independently; eight presets are stored and recalled through any web browser. A high-frequency flicker-free driver supports exposures from 1 ms to several s, letting imagers match flat brightness to sensor sensitivity. A rigid Minitech 30 mm aluminium frame supports wall, bench or rotating-dome installation, and the panel can double as adjustable WRGB observatory lighting. Power is 12 V DC with built-in breaker protection.
