Description

The Baader M48 Extension Tube 30 mm is a versatile adapter designed to fine-tune the optical path length of cameras and accessories equipped with M48 threads.
On the telescope side, it features an internal M48 thread with 3.5 mm depth, while the camera/eyepiece side provides an external M48 thread with 3 mm depth. Its optical path length is 30 mm.

It can also serve as a 2" (50.8 mm) nosepiece with 26 mm insertion depth. The safety kerfs increase mechanical security, and its optical height in nosepiece mode is 4 mm.
Made of high-quality aluminum, this adapter provides a 45 mm clear aperture and weighs only 0.04 kg.

Following Baader’s modern 3 mm thread depth standard, it is fully compatible with new generations of astrophotography cameras and accessories.
