Description:
The Baader 400 mm baseplate is optimized for use with Baader guidescope rings Size III, while also supporting Sizes I and II. It accommodates auxiliary instruments with tube diameters ranging from 60 to 185 mm, offering flexibility for parallel mounting configurations.

This side-mounted baseplate is specially designed to integrate with Baader Sidewings, allowing precise installation of a secondary OTA alongside the main instrument. It is compatible with premium mounts such as 10Micron, Astro-Physics, and PlaneWave.

A thread on the underside enables the attachment of Baader 1 kg stainless steel counterweights (#2951401) to help balance the setup in dual-telescope applications.
