Description:
The Baader D-ERF (Dielectric Energy Reflection Filter) is designed to block harmful infrared radiation before it reaches your optical system during solar observation. It acts as a front-mounted pre-filter when used in combination with H-alpha filters like SolarSpectrum. Its advanced dielectric IR-Cut coating and perfectly flat, parallel faces ensure thermal reduction and image clarity.

The D-ERF filter must always be installed at the front of the telescope, oriented correctly as marked on the edge of the filter glass. It is delivered without a mounting cell and must be inserted into a compatible filter holder.

WARNING: The Baader IRF filter must only be used together with a complementary H-alpha filter. Using this D-ERF filter alone for solar observation or astrophotography can cause severe and irreversible eye damage.
