Description
The 10Micron AZ 3000 HPS is a professional-grade robotic altazimuth mount based on the proven mechanics of the GM3000. It is equipped with 10Micron’s exclusive HPS technology (High Precision and Speed), combining high-speed servo motors and absolute axis encoders for top-tier performance in demanding environments.
This mount is particularly suited for advanced scientific fields including LEO satellite tracking, debris monitoring, laser communications, photometric and astrometric analysis, and high-resolution spectroscopy.
In its standard version, it supports a single OTA with a counterweight shaft. The included DT Set (#1453905) enables dual telescope mounting, offering a total payload capacity of 165 kg. Due to the altazimuth design, a field derotator (ASCOM compatible) is required for long-exposure astrophotography.
The V3 Control Box includes an ARM processor, industrial Binder connectors, precision GPS (with PPS signal), and expanded AUX control. The mount can operate fully stand-alone or be remotely controlled via RS-232, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi.
