DESCRIPTION

The Baader Planetarium 12V / 24V 5A converter supplies power to GM1000 and GM2000 mounts directly from a 12V car battery. It provides a stable 24V output with a maximum current of 5 amps, equivalent to 120 watts.

It connects via a standard car cigarette lighter plug. This converter must not be used with standard 12V power supplies—only with 12V automotive batteries.

To protect the mount's electronics, the GoTo slewing speed must be manually limited to a maximum of 2° to 4° per second.

Compact and lightweight, this unit offers stable and reliable power in mobile setups, without requiring 220V or inverters.
